2020… It was supposed to be my fourth Burn, but a virus decided the outcomes differently : Black Rock City will not raise in the dust this year…

So, after missing 2019, I'll need to be even more patient to meet my Playa Family again!

Even if this is heartbreaking, Burning Man Project simply has made the right decision, for the safety and health of everyone.

But Burning Man is not just Black Rock City : it's much more. It's a community, it's a global movement that works on a daily basis to push the boundaries, and shows new ways of connecting, creating, working, sharing, living.

Burning Man organization is doing an outstanding job right now, dealing with this crisis, communicating in the most transparent way I've ever seen, and reinventing 2020 Burning Man. Who could guess that this years' theme - The Multiverse - would happen to really turn to reality? Black Rock City will have an avatar in the virtual world this year, and I'm curious to discover how the community will evolve in this unprecedented context.

So, see you in the Multiverse this year, and in the dust in 2021!
